TurboGrafx.games is here!

This will be a space to celebrate the greatness that was this amazing console that was underappreciated in its day (at least in the US), with the hope being a few of you good folks out there in VideoLand will pick one up, give it a try, and experience a classic gaming rush from discovering this gem of a console and its library of great games!

Our full-fledged Blog is coming soon, and will be a diverse mix of all things TurboGrafx (with perhaps some other gaming love thrown in when and where it's justified).

For the first post, I thought it a great jumping off point to shared one of the wonderful early commercials for the system. It's a slice of late 80's awesome:

If that's not a rush of nostalgia, I don't know what is! If you grew up in the late 80's and early 90's, you'll be very familiar with the cut throat mentality the console makers had about each other.. it was very common practice for Sega, Nintendo, TurboGrafx and others to go directly after each other in their commercials, many times directly comparing their graphics and system capabilities (Sega does what Ninten-don't 😀 ).

Hopefully that whets your appetite, gets you to bookmark this site and keep you coming back for more. This will be a fun project and the more you support the more TurboGrafx material we will be able to provide!
